Something Special
Welcome to this totally bespoke and unique design - named ‘the time capsule table’ because the 10 inch wide 33inch diameter steel ring encompasses the last of an era new old stock Aston Martin DB7 V12 Cylinder Head (Bank 1).
Created by Bromog to showcase the ‘Best of British’ in a modern balancing act design using two pieces of the finest English Oak, sourced from Berkshire and sustainably cut down by a local tree surgeon and dry stored for two years. These two pieces are 90cm long x 35cm wide x 50mm thick. Cut, planed and waxed finished to show off the beautiful age grain of the wood.
The steel was sourced locally here in the UK, then rolled and welded into a bespoke sized ring by one of the countries finest craftsmen, appointed by HRH Queen Elizabeth II as the Royal Warrant grantee wheelwright, @wheelwrightgreg and his fabulous team in Colyton.
The entire ring was then sanded, primed and sprayed in an original DB7 1999 model year colour Aston Martin Lagonda Racing Green 1140.
Before being mounted to the lower piece of oak which stands approximately 1 inch from the ground on aluminium feet.
The entire table now free stands with this incredible floating upper oak top and steel centre, inside is one of the last remaining factory produced cylinder heads and has now been saved, to display this beautifully engineered cylinder head in its new reimagined purpose as a stunning table.

this is potentially 1 of 7, of which each individual table could be made in any Aston Martin colour, any choice of wood and personalisation required.
